Access To Your Full Medical Record

From 31st October 2023 GP Practices in England are contractually required to give patients online access to their medical records

As your GP practice, we are now providing you with access to your full medical record via the NHS app (and NHS website) if you have a suitable NHS login.

This means that you will have access to → new ← information added to your GP record, going forward (“prospective records access”). It does not automatically provide you with any historic (past) information, present in your record, prior to 31^st October 2023.

We are aware that not everyone will want access to GP record in this way, and at this time, and some patients may have concerns about their personal medical records being made available on their smartphones or online, especially if other people have access to their devices or logins.

If you have online access to GP services in this way (e.g., if you use the NHS App, Systonline, or Airmid) and if you would like to switch off prospective records access for the time being, then please do complete the form below or contact the surgery and we will disable it.

It will not disable any of the other features of the NHS App, such as medication requests, appointment and admin requests, COVID-19 vaccination facility etc.
